Grape Vinegar and Fernet Cocktail

Grape Vinegar and Fernet Cocktail

Back when I made peach and pineapple vinegars with my brother here, my mind was already racing with other fruits to make vinegars with. One of the first one I tried was this grape version and it turned out surprisingly well. Per my brother’s suggestion, I paired it with some gin and one of our favorites, Fernet Branca, and it was delicious. It’s not normally flavors that you see paired together often, but they all work wonderfully in this.

Grape Vinegar and Fernet Cocktail

This week has (luckily) flown by and that’s a great thing because I’ve been ready for this weekend for the past month – I have a couple days off next week which will be spent with family and friends and just re-charging from everything that’s been going on lately. Drinks will be flowing and I think I may kick off the weekend with one of these grape vinegar and Fernet cocktails since I have a little grape vinegar leftover in my fridge.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Cheers!
