Carolina Blue Cocktail

Carolina Blue Cocktail

It’s been pretty exciting here in Charlotte lately. With the Panther’s in the Super Bowl this year, the city is buzzing and you can feel it in the air. It’s been amazing to watch them this season and I’m so happy that they get to play on Sunday- I kept saying how robbed we’d feel if they lost in the playoffs, but luckily that turned out to not be an issue. Because Sunday is one of my favorite times of year (besides Christmas, of course!), I decided to celebrate with a Carolina blue cocktail to cheer on the Panthers.

A co-worker sent me a link to a Panther’s themed drink a couple of weeks ago and I decided I would have to create my own cocktail. Mine is made with gin and lemonade (my favorite!) and some blue curacao, as well as a splash of lime juice. It’s simple so it’s the perfect drink to sip on while watching the game. I’ll probably be drinking beer for the most part, but I’ll be sure to start the game off with one of these cocktails.

  1. Whoa, I LOVE the color of this drink! I had no idea the panthers were blue (I couldn’t keep football teams straight if my life depended on it) but I’m glad because blue cucaco is so underrated.

    1. Haha!! Blue curacao is SOOO underrated – I always feel like it’s looked as a big college drink (I know we drank it all the time), but it really does add nice flavor to drinks!
