Key Lime Cooler Cocktails

I absolutely love lemons and limes in my drinks; as far as I’m concerned, the more tart the better, and these key lime cooler cocktails definitely deliver. They can get pretty sour, but you can easily tone it down by adding more or less sugar, depending upon your preference. They’re a great drink to sip on during the remaining warm days of summer/early fall, but they’d be equally great alongside an indoor or outdoor grilled dinner.

I found the key lime juice used in these at my local store in the cocktail juice aisle. We looked all over for it in the refrigerated juice, but we finally located it in the non-refrigerated section. It’s a lot easier than juicing tons of key limes, and I think the taste (I used a Florida brand) is identical.

  1. Another fantastic cocktail! I would love it if you would link it up to Tipsy Tuesday at Grey is the New Black – a weekly cocktail linkup!

  2. I am a native south Floridian and whenever I see a “key lime” recipe I’m always skeptical because people just use regular limes. I love that you highlighted using real key lime juice (I buy the key limes and squeeze them fresh for my recipes). This looks delicious and I am definitely making it. Also sharing on my social media channels. 🙂 Thanks for the recipe!

    1. Oh, I’m so jealous! We get key limes up here, but sometimes they can be SO insanely priced that buying the real-deal in a bottle is completely worth it. Thanks so much, Heather! 🙂
